Question: Why did I create the manuals?
Answer: I found myself wanting something that I could keep all my notes and ideas in and carry it around to practice, games, scouting, meetings, office, and home.
All of the other big sports like basketball, football, and hockey have manuals that allow coaches to be more organized. Lacrosse, however, did not have coaches manuals for mens or women’s lacrosse.
Question: How can the manuals help you?
Answer: They should help clarify your thought process and focus your attention and effort on the specific areas that will help you and your team be more successful. “Work smarter, not harder.”
Question: What do the manuals offer?
Answer: The manuals have areas for your practice plans, drills, offensive and defensive sets and plays. They have an entire section on scouting and game planning, as well as a final section on things to consider when evaluating your season.
Question: What do these manuals not include?
Answer: They are not “How To” play lacrosse instructional manuals. They are an advanced organizational tool that should simplify and focus your coaching for you, and your players. I have created Educational Lacrosse Resources, as well, which you will also be able to find here.
Question: What stories do the manuals tell?
Answer: The story of season after season, secured in one spot to reference, cite, comment on, credit, and use in detail whenever needed to help achieve another successful season.
